Overview

An established full-service agency specializing in advertising is seeking a Media Director to lead their team! This full-service, results-driven agency services a variety of leading clients and has been providing integrated media and advertising services for decades. This is an agency that does not let age define them, as they consistently seek new opportunities to remain relevant to clients during the surge of digital media and technology. As Director, you will have the opportunity to manage the development of innovative strategies and participate in new business development. The ideal candidate is a “born and bred” leader in the media industry and has a proven track record of taking client campaigns to the next level.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all areas of media (TV, Radio, Digital, Search and OOH)
  • Lead the media team in developing innovative strategies
  • Ensure that agency best practices are being utilized to provide clients with the best experience
  • Evaluate campaign performance in relation to client goals and objectives
  • Seek ways to maximize client budgets and create efficient campaigns
  • Provide recommendations for ways to enhance future campaigns
  • Identify areas for growth and present to clients
  • Participate in new business development by collaborating with internal teams for pitches and proposals
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and find opportunities for the agency to utilize them where appropriate
  • Foster a collaborative and enjoyable work environment
  • Serve as point of contact to all clients and media vendors

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in media planning/buying/strategy in an agency setting
  • Strong ability to manage projects and lead a team of media professionals
  • Experience working with diversified clients (CPG, hospitality, education, etc.)
  • Stellar communication and presentation skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (business, advertising, communications, etc.)
