Group Media Director (Boston)

We are looking for a media guru who is not only passionate about media but very well versed on developing tactics that incorporate emerging trends to lead a few of this Agency’s larger accounts.

The Group Media Director is one of the leaders of the core agency team responsible for developing and executing effective advertising campaigns for all assigned clients. The GMD is responsible for setting the bar for strategic and creative thinking in all media services.

Requirements:

• The Group Media Director is takes with becoming a true client business partner who is fully responsible for understanding all aspects of client’s business and marketing goals so that they can create and explore opportunities that achieve and surpass those goals.
• Must be a thought leader in all advertising/marketing issues to function as a communications strategist who is agnostic about media or disciplines
• Must inculcate stronger client relationship while thinking about growing the agency business across all areas and mediums.
• Works closely with account planning and creative to creatively address client business problems
• Responsible for training and development of staff and creating institutional knowledge
• Responsible for managing staffing and profitability
• Lead new business projects
• Actively seek out potentially new client opportunities within media
• Positive role model, responsible for department morale and knowledge/growth

Compensation: 180K, DOE
