    VP, New Business Development (NY)

    Our client is seeking an experienced and energetic VP, New Business Development to acquire new clients and advertisers for the firm.

With almost 15 years of experience in search marketing, it works with clients to develop effective marketing strategies and programs.     Responsibilities

    • Acquire new advertisers/clients for the firm
    • Participate in the hiring, training, development, mentoring and retention of staff members in this department
    • Continually work to improve the process of prospecting, qualifying, and closing key accounts
    • Work closely with Account Managers to effectively manage accounts
    • Deliver first-rate customer service while maintaining and growing account services
    • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals
    • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the agency’s business model and of the Internet advertising environment

    Qualifications

    • Must have a minimum of 3-5 years Internet/online media sales experience
    • At least 5 years of Internet/online ad sales experience required. CPA media and SEM/SEO is a plus
    • 5+ years of management experience in account services/sales
    • Strong knowledge of advertising sales, search and Internet, CPA, CPM

    Salary: 200k+, DOE
