National Cable Sales
Opportunity to work autonomously out of a field office location near Penn Station. Great opportunity to for someone with an agency background and a large rolodex to transition onto the sales side.
This company is a unique Network of nationalized cable nets that direct their clients’ adspend to the cable systems instead of the national MSO’s. In turn this person would be selling a multitude of media mix’s across almost every cable network and would still reach the same # of HH. No longer will you be bound by the content of your specific network but you are now free to sell weight on all networks thus providing a more comprehensive media mix and at a reduced rate. With dollars shifting away from the traditional networks, increased competition between network/cable programming and the disparagement of the Upfront, it is evident that the TV Advertising days of old are behind us. With a high base salary and the opportunity to work autonomously (in a field office) this is something that will be a great opportunity for the truly motivated and inspired sales person.
Requirements:
- This person should be a very media savvy professional with at least 7-10 years in the media sales industry
- Very well known in the industry and have a rolodex of high level people on the Agency side
- Well versed in both National Cable and overall branding strategy
- Strong network background and be able to work autonomously
