Account Director - Global CPG Account

Our client is one of the ad industry’s most talked about and fastest-expanding full service agencies. They are a group of some of the brightest in the industry who enjoy a close-knit agency environment, but still having an account roster with blue-chip clients like that of a larger agency. They pride themselves on having a true partnership with their clients.

Requirements:

• 7+ years account management experience in an agency environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills
• Participates in and contributes to the formulation of advertising/marketing plans for client.
• Supervises the orderly handling of Account Supervisors and more junior team members seeing that promises are kept, deadlines met and standards upheld
• Stays well informed on all of his/her accounts’ activities, thus enabling him to anticipate trouble (internal or external) or client dissatisfaction and with the Account Supervisor takes steps to remedy any such situation.
• Participates in new business activities as assigned· Assists in the cross selling of value-added products into strategic account base
• Detail-oriented, good follow-up skills, multi-tasker and able to work well under tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Heavy tv/print production experience
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Bachelor’s Degree
